The general purpose capacitor start-inductor run motor features a 1 HP output and operates at 1725 RPM within a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure. It is built with a 56 frame and a C face mount, designed to operate at a voltage range of 115/208-230V on a single-phase supply at 60Hz. The motor has a nameplate current rating of 12.8/6.4 amps and is rated for continuous duty with a 1.15 service factor. It does not include thermal protection and has a standard efficiency rating of 75%, suitable for ambient temperatures up to 40°C. It allows for selective counter-clockwise rotation and has a shaft length of 1-7/8 inches with a shaft diameter of 5/8 inch. The TEFC enclosure ensures no vent openings for air exchange, while an external fan provides cooling by circulating air around the motor frame, making it appropriate for environments exposed to dirt or dampness, though not suitable for very moist or hazardous locations. The NEMA C face mount features a machined face with a pilot on the shaft end, enabling direct mounting to pumps or other directly coupled equipment, with bolts passing through the mounted part into threaded holes in the motor face.
