The general-purpose capacitor start-capacitor run motor features a power rating of 1.5HP and operates at 1725 RPM within a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure. It has a 56 frame size, C face mount, and is compatible with voltages of 115/208-230V, 1PH, 60Hz, with nameplate amps of 17.2/8.8-8.6. This motor is designed for continuous duty with a service factor of 1.0 and operates with an efficiency rating of 79%. It is rated for ambient temperatures up to 40 C and allows for selective counter-clockwise rotation. The shaft has a length of 1-7/8 inches and a diameter of 5/8 inches. The TEFC enclosure prevents the free exchange of air while using an external fan to cool the motor by blowing air around its outer frame. This motor is suitable for environments exposed to dirt or dampness, but not for very moist or hazardous (explosive) locations. The NEMA C face mount features a machined face with a pilot on the shaft end, allowing for direct mounting with pumps or other directly coupled equipment, where bolts pass through the mounted part to a threaded hole in the motor face.
