The kit includes a fire-rated (FR) door hardware system that is UL/CUL listed for a 3-hour fire rating in accordance with 10C, UBC 7-2 (1997) standards. It is ANSI/BHMA A156.3 series grade 1 certified and complies with ANSI A117.1 ADA requirements, ensuring accessibility standards are met. The product features a narrow stile measuring 2 1/2" and is designed for a standard door thickness of 1 3/4". The device length is 33" suitable for 36" doors and is field-sizable, allowing it to be cut down to a minimum of 27". The latch bolt is constructed from stainless steel powder metallurgy with an 11/16" throw, while the deadlocking latch also utilizes stainless steel powder metallurgy with a 9/16" throw. Additionally, the system is weather resistant, making it suitable for various environmental conditions.
