The kit includes a 42" panic bar designed for 48" doors, constructed from stainless steel, and certified as ANSI/BHMA A156.3 series grade 1, ensuring high quality and durability. It complies with ANSI A117.A ADA requirements, making it suitable for accessible environments, and is UL/CUL listed for safety standards. The panic bar features a narrow stile of 2 1/2", compatible with a standard door thickness of 1 3/4". The device has a length of 33" for 36" doors and is field-sizable, allowing adjustment to a minimum length of 27". It includes a stainless steel powder metallurgy latch bolt with an 11/16" throw and a deadlocking latch with a 9/16" throw, both designed for weather resistance.
