The SDS-Plus standard tip fits all SDS-Plus and Hilti TE-C rotary hammers and features a reduced area above the flute to prevent the drill bit from binding while drilling, allowing the full usable length to be utilized. The chrome vanadium shaft is through-hardened to 50-53 HRC, and the patented tip and flute design removes dust more efficiently, achieving up to 25% faster drilling than other bits. The bit has a shot-peened, double-tempered finish that reduces breakage and is hot isostatically pressed to extend life and resist breakage. The copper braze material provides high heat resistance for reduced tip loss. All tips are made to ANSI specifications.
