Speedbor with Weldtec ship auger bits are designed for enhanced durability and extended cutting life, featuring a patented, harder cutting edge welded to the base material, which provides twice the nail cutting life compared to standard Irwin ship augers. These bits include an aggressive screw pitch and wide flutes for efficient chip removal, along with a 7/16" quick change impact shank for easy bit replacement. Bits with a diameter of 3/4" and larger have a fully forged body for added strength.
