The rotary percussion drill bit features a straight shank and fits all hammer drills equipped with a 3-jaw or Jacobs chuck. It has a chrome vanadium shaft that is through-hardened to 50-53 HRC. The bit's patented flute geometry removes dust from the hole more quickly, allowing for faster drilling and longer tool life, with performance up to 150% faster than other competitive bits. The drill bit has a shot-peened, double-tempered finish that reduces breakage, and it is hot isostatically pressed to further extend life and resist breakage. The copper braze material used provides high heat resistance, which reduces tip loss. All tips are manufactured to ANSI specifications.
