The SDS-plus standard tip drill bit fits all SDS-plus and Hilti TE-C rotary hammers, featuring a reduced area above the flute to prevent the drill bit from binding while drilling, allowing full usable length utilization. It has a chrome vanadium shaft that is through-hardened to 50-53 HRC, with a patented tip and flute design that removes dust more efficiently, achieving up to 25% faster performance than other bits. The bit is finished with shot-peening and double tempering to reduce breakage, and it is hot isostatically pressed to extend life and resist breakage. The copper braze material provides high heat resistance, reducing tip loss, and all tips are manufactured to ANSI specifications.
