The SDS-PLUS standard tip fits all SDS-PLUS and Hilti TE-C rotary hammers and features a reduced area above the flute to prevent the drill bit from binding during use, allowing full utilization of the drill length. The chrome vanadium shaft is through-hardened to 50-53 HRC, and the patented tip and flute design efficiently removes dust, achieving up to 25% faster drilling compared to other bits. The drill bit has a shot-peened, double-tempered finish to reduce breakage, and is hot isostatically pressed to extend life and resist breakage. Its copper braze material provides high heat resistance, minimizing tip loss. All tips are manufactured to ANSI specifications.
