The SDS-Plus standard tip fits all SDS-Plus and Hilti TE-C rotary hammers and features a reduced area above the flute to prevent the drill bit from binding while drilling, allowing full usable length to be utilized. It has a chrome vanadium shaft that is through-hardened to 50-53 HRC and a patented tip and flute design that removes dust more efficiently, achieving up to 25% faster drilling than other bits. The shot-peened, double-tempered finish reduces breakage, and the bit is hot isostatically pressed to extend life and resist breakage. The copper braze material offers high heat resistance to reduce tip loss. All tips are made to ANSI specifications.
