The Johnson Controls digital temperature controller A421AEC-02C is a single-stage, line-voltage electronic temperature control featuring a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) output relay, suitable for controlling various single-stage refrigeration or HVAC equipment. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 212°F and includes a type 4X (NEMA) IP66 watertight, corrosion-resistant enclosure designed for surface mounting and rated for either 120 or 240 VAC. The package includes an A99BB-200C PTC temperature sensor with a 2-inch standard probe and a 6.6 ft. PVC cable. The controller offers a control front panel LCD with both basic and advanced programming menus, on/off temperature adjustment, switch-activated temperature setback, adjustable anti-short cycle delay, adjustable sensor offset, optional restricted adjustment mode, and a sensor failure mode.
