The A99B series temperature sensors are passive PTC (positive temperature coefficient) sensors designed for measuring temperature in a variety of refrigeration applications, including freezers, coolers, defrost termination sensing, and space and return air temperature sensing. The kit includes several accessories that facilitate easy tailoring of the temperature sensor to various mounting configurations. Key features include a variety of lead lengths available to accommodate most application requirements, an assortment of mounting hardware for various configurations, and exceptional accuracy of the sensing element which provides excellent performance across diverse control applications. The stainless steel sensing bulb enables use in more applications than other types without risk of corrosion. The lead length can be extended up to 800 ft, with a reference resistance of 1035 ohms at 77°F (25°C) and accuracy of 0.9°F (0.5°C) between 5 and 167°F (-15 and 75°C), and features a 22 AWG lead wire gauge.
