The SDS-Plus Hex Drive drill bit fits all SDS-Plus and Hilti TE-C rotary hammers, featuring a reduced area above the flute to prevent the drill bit from binding during drilling, allowing full usable length to be utilized. It has a chrome vanadium shaft that is through-hardened to 50-53 HRC, with a patented tip and flute design that removes dust up to 25% faster than other bits. The bit has a shot-peened, double-tempered finish to reduce breakage and is hot isostatically pressed to extend life and resist breakage. The copper braze material provides high heat resistance for reduced tip loss, and all tips are made to ANSI specifications.
