These pre-cleaned vials with screw caps attached are highly convenient amber glass vial kits designed for reliable usage. Constructed from strong amber borosilicate glass, they offer protection from light and temperature shock. The thermoset (phenolic) plastic caps are compatible with a wide range of chemicals and have high temperature tolerances. Each cap includes foam-backed PTFE-faced F217 liners that resist attack from virtually all chemicals at room temperature, ensuring a tight seal with a low moisture transmission rate. Contaminants such as loose dirt, carton lint, aerosols, and fine glass particles are effectively removed from the vials through a vacuum and ionization process, which encapsulates cleanliness within each vial. The specifications of these vials include a screw thread style, measuring 15 x 45 mm, with a capacity of 1 dram (4 ml). They are amber in color and manufactured from borosilicate glass, available in a case quantity of 144. The attached cap is a green thermoset F217 type featuring a PTFE lining, and the neck finish is 13-425.
