The rotary percussion straight shank drill bit fits all hammer drills equipped with a 3-jaw or Jacobs chuck and features a chrome vanadium shaft that is through-hardened to 50-53 HRC. Its patented flute geometry efficiently removes dust from the hole, allowing for faster drilling and extended bit life, achieving speeds up to 150% faster than other competitive bits. The bit has a shot-peened, double-tempered finish that reduces breakage and is hot isostatically pressed to further extend durability and resist breakage. The copper braze material used provides high heat resistance to minimize tip loss, and all tips are manufactured to ANSI specifications.
