The SHEL LAB SVAC vacuum ovens are designed for fast and gentle drying of heat-sensitive materials, minimizing residue accumulation and operating at lower temperatures compared to typical convection ovens, ensuring minimal impact on products with maximum throughput. These ovens feature stainless steel interiors for exceptional durability and stability and are available in three sizes, offering a diverse range of applications. The upgraded SVACs comply with UL, CSA, and CE safety standards, resulting in cool outer surfaces. Users can select from a 3/8-inch orifice or a KF-25 fitting to attain necessary vacuum levels, designed to withstand heavy use and reduce draw-down time. The units come with positive latch handles and spring-loaded glass doors for effective vacuum sealing while preventing hinge binds that can shorten gasket life. A tempered glass viewing window allows safe, continuous monitoring of samples. Equipped with silicone gaskets that resist various temperatures and pressures, the oven is also compatible with Buna gaskets for solvent applications and fluorosilicone or Viton® gaskets for acidic environments. Key features include a Watlow controller, ample usable shelf area, capability to achieve impressive vacuum levels, sizes ranging from 0.6 to 4.5 cubic feet, and built-in overtemperature protection.
