These batteries charge faster and provide longer run times compared to standard lithium-ion batteries, delivering up to two times more run time per charge than the Makita® 3.0Ah battery. With a category-leading charge time of only 55 minutes, these batteries maximize productivity by minimizing time spent charging. Each battery features an on-board L.E.D. charge level indicator for monitoring the charge status. Designed to resist self-discharge, Makita® 18V lithium-ion batteries are ready for use after long periods of storage. The batteries are compatible with the Makita® Rapid Optimum Charger (sold separately), which utilizes a smart-charging system to communicate with the battery during charging to optimize battery life and ensure efficient charging, even in high-temperature environments.
