The Speedbor® Blue Groove short length drill bit features a 1-1/2" diameter and a 4" length, designed with a point and cutting edge that enables chip removal four times faster than standard spade bits. It includes double cutting spurs that scribe the outside of the hole to reduce breakout. The bit has a 10% larger shank for added durability and a grooved hex shank that prevents slipping in the drill chuck or extension, fitting all standard quick change chucks. Its shorter length allows it to access confined spaces such as between studs where standard-length bits cannot fit.
