The Speedbor® Blue Groove extra-long spade bit has a 3/8" diameter and a 16" length. These bits feature a pointed tip and cutting edge designed for faster chip removal, achieving speeds up to 4 times faster than standard spade bits. Double cutting spurs are included to scribe the outside of the hole, reducing breakout for cleaner results. The bit has a 10% larger shank for added durability, and the grooved hex shank prevents slipping in drill chucks or extensions. It fits all standard quick change chucks but is not intended for use with bit extensions.
