Standard length spade bits feature a blue-groove point and cutting edge designed for faster chip removal, operating at 4 times the speed of standard spade bits. They include double cutting spurs that scribe the outside of the hole to reduce breakout, and a 10% larger shank for added durability. The grooved hex shank prevents slipping in a drill chuck or bit extension and the bits fit all standard quick-change chucks.
