The JET JTM-1 and JTM-2 models feature a three-stage power down feed with auto stop and high precision class 7 spindle bearings, supported by the rugged stability of certified Meehanite® castings. Essential attributes include an internally cooled spindle head to prevent seizing, precision bored and honed milling head, a chromed large diameter quill, and a heavy-duty splined motor drive. Additional features comprise a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, heavy-duty spindle brake, and precision hardened and ground ways, along with a precision ground table. The kit includes standard equipment such as an internal coolant tank (coolant pump not included), tolerance test sheet, one shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools. Key specifications feature a Newall DP500 digital readout, power feed on the X-axis, R-8 spindle taper, and a table size of 9" x 42". The quill diameter measures 3-3/8", with eight spindle speeds ranging from 80 to 2,720 RPM, and quill down feed rates of .0015, .003, and .006 IPR.
