Constructed using the Meehanite® casting process, Jet variable speed milling machines provide consistent and reliable operation. The package includes certified Meehanite® castings, a precision bored and honed milling head, a large diameter chrome-plated quill, high precision class 7 spindle bearings, a chrome plated motor shaft with lower bearing support, an internally cooled spindle head, and a heavy-duty splined motor drive. Additionally, it features a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, a heavy-duty spindle brake, locks on all movable surfaces, precision hardened and ground ways and table, adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the casting base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included). A tolerance test sheet, one-shot lubrication system, way covers, draw bar, and toolbox with tools are also included.
