The power drill long ship auger bits feature a single cutter and side lip that effortlessly bore holes in wood even when nails are encountered, cutting through nails without damaging the bit. They have a full-length heat treatment that guards against bending in heavy-duty applications and strengthens the twist where the greatest strain occurs. The hollow center flutes quickly clear chips out of holes, while the wide lands help keep the bit straight as it bores. These bits include a medium-fast screw point ideal for general woodboring applications and can be resharpened. Each bit has a 12" twist length and a 17" overall length and includes nail cutting capability.
