The JTM-1 and 2 models feature a three-stage power down feed with auto stop, precision class 7 spindle bearings, and the rugged stability of certified Meehanite® castings, ensuring reliable performance. The internally cooled spindle head prevents seizing, while Jet's precision engineering guarantees superior results. The kit includes a digital readout (Newall DP500), a power feed for the X-axis, an R-8 spindle taper, and a table size measuring 9" x 42". Additional specifications include a quill diameter of 3-3/8", 16 spindle speeds ranging from 80 to 5,440 RPM, quill down feed rates of .0015 - .003 - .006 IPR, a spindle travel of 5", and head movement capabilities of 90° right and left and 45° forward and backward. The machine can accommodate a maximum distance from the spindle to the table of 17-1/2", with a maximum and minimum distance from the spindle to the column of 19" and 4-1/2", respectively. It supports collet capacities ranging from 1/8" to 7/8", with a table longitudinal travel of 23-7/8" and 20-2/7" when using the power feed, plus a cross travel of 12-1/2".
