The JET JTM-1254RVS and JTM-1254VS are 12" x 54" variable speed vertical milling machines engineered for durability, strength, and precision, designed to produce high-quality components. These machines feature certified Meehanite® castings, a precision bored and honed milling head, high precision class 7 spindle bearings, and a quick spindle feed nut. They include a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, a heavy-duty spindle brake, precision hardened and ground ways and table, and three precision ground T-slots. The machines utilize Turcite B on the X and Y axes, adjustable gibs throughout, and automatic lubrication every 180 minutes with a flow of 3-6cc to reduce maintenance. They are equipped with a digital readout (Newall DP700), a pneumatic power draw bar with an R-8 spindle taper, and a quill diameter of 4-1/8 inches. The range of spindle speeds spans from 80 to 3,800 RPM and quill down feed rates are adjustable at .0015, .003, and .008 inches per revolution. Moreover, these mills comply with CSA/CUS certifications, and each unit comes with two 115V outlets for power feeds, a spindle safety guard, an LED machine lamp, dual locks on all movable surfaces, a chip pan, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools, all supported by JET's industry-leading two-year warranty.
