The HM408 commercial battery box is an ideal battery storage solution designed specifically for Group 4D batteries, suitable for marine, RV, and commercial equipment. It features a four-corner fastening system that simplifies installation, along with large cable entry holes accommodating heavy gauge wires up to 4/0 AWG. The box incorporates a large internal reservoir to effectively collect battery acid and offers full flow ventilation to release battery gases. Its rugged, rotationally molded design ensures ultimate protection in low-temperature environments while shielding against UV, oil, gas, and other contaminants. The HM408 complies with Coast Guard (USCG) code of federal regulations 183.420 and meets the standards set by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) E-10.7, making it suitable for installation in boats, campers, motorhomes, trailers, caravans, as well as commercial and generator equipment.
