The combination shower eye/face wash unit is a free-standing, floor-mounted unit designed for effective safety and emergency response. It features a shower valve that opens quickly via a pull rod with a triangular handle, ensuring a superior wash down with an even spray pattern. The eyewash is operated by a large, highly visible push handle, providing safe and steady water flow under varying water supply conditions from 30 to 90 PSI, guaranteed by integral flow control in the spray head assembly. The unit is equipped with a 120-volt electric heat trace cable and pipe insulation regulated to -50° F (-45.5° C), making it suitable for Class 1 Division 2, Groups B, C, and D locations. The construction includes NEMA 4X standard galvanized steel pipe with Bradtect® safety yellow coating, an ABS plastic shower head and halo eye/face wash, an ABS plastic outer shell sealed with rivets, and an impact-resistant plastic bowl and dust cover. Additionally, indicator lights display power to the unit and heating cable. The unit is certified to ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 standard and is CCSAUS listed when installed and used properly. It comes with a manufacturer's limited warranty and includes a halo heat trace, 120V electric heat trace cable, C1D2 top supply, lights, a universal identification sign, and an inspection tag.
