Speedbor with Weldtec ship auger bits feature a patent-pending welded cutting edge that provides a harder cutting surface bonded to the base material, resulting in twice the nail cutting life compared to standard Irwin ship augers. These bits have an aggressive screw pitch and wide flutes designed for efficient material removal. They include a 7/16" quick change impact shank for easy bit changes, and bits with a diameter of 3/4" and larger have a fully forged body for added durability.
