Speedbor with Weldtec ship auger bits feature a patent-pending welded cutting edge that is harder than the base material, resulting in twice the nail cutting life compared to standard Irwin ship augers. These bits have an aggressive screw pitch and wide flutes, enhancing their drilling performance. They are equipped with a 7/16" quick change impact shank for easy and fast bit changes. For added durability, bits with a diameter of 3/4" and larger have a fully forged body.
