The Master Lock thermoplastic safety padlock features a 1-3/8 inch (35mm) wide plastic blue body and a 1-1/2 inch (38mm) tall, 3/16 inch (5mm) diameter marine grade 316 stainless steel shackle for superior corrosion resistance, making it ideal for corrosive environments. The lock body is designed to withstand chemicals, temperature extremes, and is UV stable, while its durable, lightweight design allows for easy portability. This padlock is specifically designed for lockout/tagout applications and features a high security, reserved-for-safety cylinder with a key retaining mechanism to ensure the padlock is not left unlocked. The shackle, with a diameter of 3/16 inch (4.76mm), fits more applications, and the 1-7/8 inch (48mm) tall thermoplastic body provides a shackle clearance of 1-1/2 inches (38mm). The patented design complies with OSHA guidelines of one employee, one lock, one key, while the non-key retaining feature ensures that the padlock is not accidentally left unlocked. Additionally, the padlock includes English write-on "DANGER" and "PROPERTY OF" labels, with 14 language options available for global identification, as well as an S142 photo identification label for immediate user recognition, and a 6-pin tumbler for enhanced security.
