The Master Lock thermoplastic safety padlock features a 1-3/8in (35mm) wide plastic purple body and a 3in (76mm) tall, 3/16in (5mm) diameter marine grade 316 stainless steel shackle for superior corrosion resistance, making it ideal for corrosive environments. The lock body is designed to withstand chemicals, temperature extremes, and is UV stable. It is specifically designed for lockout/tagout applications and offers a durable, lightweight construction that is easy to carry. The padlock includes a high security, reserved-for-safety cylinder with key retaining to prevent accidental unlocking. The shackle's 3/16in (4.76mm) diameter fits more applications, while the patented design complies with the OSHA guideline of "one employee, one lock, one key" directive. It features non-key retaining functionality, ensuring the padlock is not mistakenly left unlocked. Additionally, the padlock comes with English write-on "Danger" and "Property of" labels, with 14 language options available for global identification purposes, and a S142 photo identification label for immediate user recognition. The padlock is keyed different and incorporates a 6-pin tumbler for enhanced security.
