The Master Lock Dielectric Thermoplastic Safety Padlock features a 1-1/2 in (38 mm) wide ZENEX™ thermoplastic red body and a 1-1/2 in (38 mm) tall, 1/4 in (6 mm) diameter plastic shackle designed to help prevent electrocution and arc flashing while also preventing electrical current from shackle to key. All components are non-sparking and non-magnetic, made from plastic, copper, and brass. The padlock is specifically designed for lockout/tagout applications, constructed from durable, lightweight, non-conductive thermoplastic material for easy portability. It includes a key retaining cylinder to ensure the padlock is not left unlocked, complies with the "One Employee, One Lock, One Key" directive, and features a keyed alike 6-pin tumbler mechanism. The padlock has a clearance of 1-1/2 in (38 mm) under the plastic shackle, making it an effective safety tool in various industrial settings.
