The American Lock aluminum padlock features a 1-1/2 in (38 mm) wide black anodized aluminum body with a 1 in (25 mm) tall, 1/4 in (6 mm) diameter chrome plated boron alloy shackle for superior cut resistance. The anodized finish makes the padlock suitable for lockout in food processing facilities, and the corrosion-resistant finish is ideal for tough environments. Designed specifically for lockout/tagout applications, the padlock includes a high-security reserved for safety cylinder with a key retaining feature to ensure the padlock is not left unlocked. It has a shackle clearance of 1 in, complies with OSHA's "one employee, one lock, one key" directive, and features a keyed different 6-pin tumbler.
