The American Lock aluminum padlock features a 1-1/2 inch (38 mm) wide blue anodized aluminum body with a 3 inch (75 mm) tall, 1/4 inch (6 mm) diameter chrome plated, boron alloy shackle, providing superior cut resistance. The anodized finish makes the padlock suitable for lockout in food processing facilities, while its corrosion-resistant finish is ideal for tough environments. Specifically designed for lockout/tagout applications, the padlock includes a high security, reserved for safety cylinder and a key retaining feature to ensure that it is not left unlocked. This padlock complies with OSHA's "one employee, one lock, one key" directive and is equipped with a keyed different 6-pin tumbler for enhanced security.
