Speedbor Ship Auger Bits with Weldtec are designed for enhanced durability and longevity due to a harder cutting edge welded to the base material. They offer twice the nail cutting life compared to standard Irwin ship augers and feature a patent-pending welded cutting edge. The bits have an aggressive screw pitch and wide flutes for efficient material removal. A 7/16" quick change impact shank is included for easy bit changes. Bits with a diameter of 3/4" and larger have a fully forged body for added strength.
