The American Lock aluminum padlock features a 1-1/2 in (38 mm) wide blue anodized aluminum body with a 1 in (25 mm) tall, 1/4 in (6 mm) diameter chrome plated, boron alloy shackle for superior cut resistance. The anodized finish makes the padlock suitable for lockout in food processing facilities, and the corrosion resistant finish is ideal for tough environments. Designed specifically for lockout/tagout applications, the padlock includes a high security, reserved for safety cylinder with a key retaining feature to ensure the padlock is not left unlocked. It complies with the OSHA "one employee, one lock, one key" directive and features a keyed different 6-pin tumbler for enhanced security, along with a 1 in (25 mm) shackle clearance.
