The American Lock aluminum padlock features a 1-1/2 in (38 mm) wide purple anodized aluminum body with a 1-1/2 in (38 mm) tall, 1/4 in (6 mm) diameter chrome plated, boron alloy shackle for superior cut resistance and a 1-1/2 in shackle clearance. Its corrosion resistant, anodized finish makes it suitable for lockout in food processing facilities, and it complies with the OSHA "one employee, one lock, one key" directive, ensuring safety and security. The padlock is designed specifically for lockout/tagout applications and includes a high security, reserved for safety cylinder with a key retaining feature, which prevents the padlock from being left unlocked. Additionally, it features a keyed different 6-pin tumbler for added security.
