The Omega II® commercial radiant infrared tube heater is the original dry tube gas-fired system manufactured in the US by Combustion Research, featuring a powerful 175,000 BTU power vented system. It utilizes a 4" OD emitter tube running on natural gas and is pre-engineered as a gas-fired, unitary power vented system, also known as a positive pressure or push-through system, configured in a 60' straight layout. This heater boasts energy savings of 30-50% compared to conventional heating systems. The package includes a powder-coated aluminized steel burner, bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat-treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, a turbulator, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with manual gas valve (US only), and two reflector end caps. It is designed for use in various commercial and industrial applications, such as aircraft hangers, large warehouses, animal confinement, oil and lube shops, auto dealerships, patios, brooders, pole barns, bump shops, service garages, car and truck wash bays, shipping and receiving docks, steel warehousing, greenhouses, and swimming pools. The heater is CSA certified and comes with a limited warranty of three years on ignition controls and electrical components and ten years on radiant tubes. Installation must comply with local codes, laws, and regulations and should only be performed by an HVAC contractor qualified in gas-fired heating equipment installation and service.
