Constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminized steel, the heater includes aluminum reflectors that maximize radiant output. It operates using a millivolt standing pilot system, which does not require electrical power, and includes a 100% gas shut-off safety control. The unit allows for both horizontal and angle mounting and comes with a protective radiant screen. This product is CSA certified and has a limited warranty of 1 year. Installation and service must be performed by a licensed contractor in compliance with local codes; in the absence of local codes, installation must adhere to the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.1 (also known as NFPA 54) or CGA B149 installation codes. Additionally, the heater requires 4 CFM per 1000 BTU/hr of mechanical ventilation based on the total installed capacity.
