Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and can be installed in high humidity or corrosive environments. The heaters feature emitter tubes constructed of heat-treated aluminized steel and utilize a vacuum system that efficiently pulls products of combustion through the combustion chamber for enhanced radiant efficiency and safety. Key attributes include reliable direct spark ignition, 100% gas shut-off safety control, and the ability to accommodate up to 50' of ducting for fresh air and 75' for sidewall venting. The vacuum system is equipped with a totally enclosed combustion chamber and a heavy-duty draft inducer assembly that includes a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. The design incorporates highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required, and minimum mounting heights are specified for human comfort and uniform energy distribution. The Tough Guy series is particularly suitable for car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high-humidity environments. This product is CSA certified and is made in the USA, with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit.
