The Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are engineered for high heat loss areas or spot heating, offering fuel savings of up to 50%. These heaters feature a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber, and the emitter tubes are constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel. All gas, electrical, and flue connections are conveniently located at the same end of the heater. They come equipped with reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control. The units can accommodate up to 40 feet of ducting for fresh air intake or sidewall venting capability. A heavy-duty, permanently lubricated ball bearing blower motor ensures maintenance-free operation, while the blower is situated inside the burner box for minimal noise output, achieving less than 60 dB. The heaters are designed with highly efficient aluminum reflectors and include a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass. Additional features include a diagnostic monitoring light system and the option for a 120V supply or external 24V thermostat connection. The Tough Guy series is suitable for various applications such as car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns in high humidity environments.
