The Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are designed for high heat loss and spot heating applications, particularly in environments with high humidity or corrosive conditions. The kit includes emitter tubes made of heat-treated aluminized steel, a reliable direct spark ignition system, and a 100% gas shut-off safety control for enhanced safety. It features a vacuum system that pulls products of combustion through a totally enclosed combustion chamber, leading to increased radiant efficiency. The unit supports up to 50 feet of ducting for fresh air intake and 75 feet of sidewall venting capability. It comes equipped with a heavy-duty draft inducer assembly that includes a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation, as well as highly efficient aluminum reflectors. Additional components include a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, a burner inspection sight glass, and a diagnostic monitoring light system. The system requires a 120V supply and is certified by CSA for compliance. The Tough Guy series is particularly suitable for use in car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns. The product comes with a 5-year limited warranty on the tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit, and it is made in the USA.
