The Vacuum System Gas Tube Heaters U-tube operates on propane gas as an infrared heater, delivering fuel savings of up to 70%. Designed for high heat loss areas, such as loading docks, the U-tube configurations enhance radiant efficiency and safety through a vacuum system that pulls products of combustion through a combustion chamber. It features reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control. The system supports up to 50 feet of ducting for fresh air and 75 feet of sidewall venting. The totally enclosed combustion chamber ensures optimal safety, and the heavy-duty draft inducer assembly includes a permanently lubricated totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. The heater is equipped with highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass. A diagnostic monitoring light system is also integrated, requiring a 120V power supply. This product is CSA certified and comes with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit. It is made in the USA and installation and service must be performed by a licensed contractor in compliance with local codes or the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI X223.I (NFPA 54) or CGA B149 installation codes.
