Ideal for spot heating large areas, this heater features a dimpled tile assembly that enhances radiant efficiency and is constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminized steel. The aluminum reflectors are designed to maximize radiant output. The millivolt standing pilot heaters operate without electrical power and include a 100% gas shut-off safety control, allowing for both horizontal and angle mounting options. A protective radiant screen is included, and the product is CSA certified. It comes with a limited warranty of 1 year, and installation and service must be performed by a licensed contractor in compliance with local codes. In the absence of local codes, installation must adhere to the National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.I (also known as NFPA 54) or CGA B149 installation codes. Additionally, the unit requires 4 CFM per 1000 BTU/hr of mechanical ventilation based on the total installed capacity and is not certified or approved for residential use.
