The Serengeti-IR™ Residential Radiant Infrared Tube Heater is the original dry tube gas-fired system manufactured in the U.S. by Combustion Research. It offers a powerful 60,000 BTU output and features a 3.5" OD emitter tube that operates on natural gas within a pre-engineered, gas-fired, unitary power vented system (also known as positive pressure or push-through systems) designed for a 15-foot U-configuration. This system provides significant energy savings of 30-50% compared to conventional heating systems. Each unit includes a powder-coated aluminized steel burner with a 3-foot power cord and a 3-prong plug, as well as bright finish aluminum reflectors, tube and reflector hangers, intermediate supports, heat-treated aluminized steel radiant tubes, joint sealer, screws, turbulators, a stainless steel flexible gas connector with a manual gas valve (for U.S. use only), and two reflector end caps. It is suitable for various applications, including residential garages, commercial and industrial uses such as manufacturing plants, warehouses, hangars, loading docks, workshops, fire stations, animal confinement, and more. The heater is CSA certified, backed by a limited warranty of one year on ignition controls and electrical components, and 10 years on radiant tubes. Installation must comply with local codes and regulations and should be performed by a qualified HVAC contractor familiar with gas-fired heating equipment. This product is made in the USA.
