Combining AFD technology with a convertible design, the Adscope® 608 is a highly versatile clinician scope. It features a convertible chest piece that provides adult diaphragm/bell or adult/pediatric diaphragm configurations. The combination diaphragm/bell adult chest piece is precisely machined from surgical stainless steel, ensuring outstanding performance and rugged durability. ADC's AFD technology enhances acoustic response, allowing for light pressure to detect low, bell-type frequencies, while firm pressure is used for high, diaphragm-type frequencies. The extra-large bell (1-3/8" diameter) delivers unparalleled low-frequency response, and the ultra-sensitive diaphragm (1-3/4" diameter) provides greater amplification and crisper high-frequency response. For patient comfort, the scope includes non-chill bell and diaphragm retaining rims. The clinician headset features a reinforcing yoke molded into flexible 22" PVC tubing and stainless-steel binaurals fixed at a 15° angle for enhanced comfort. The tubing is soft, flexible, and made without phthalates. It also comes with Adsoft™ Plus silicone ear tips equipped with new snap-on connections for optimal wearing comfort and an acoustic seal. The scope includes an accessory kit with two pairs of spare Adsoft™ Plus ear tips and a scope ID tag.
