The 603 combines outstanding acoustic performance with rugged durability, incorporating AFD technology. The Adscope® 603 series features a combination diaphragm/bell adult chest piece, precisely machined from surgical stainless steel, ensuring exceptional performance and durability. ADC's AFD technology enhances acoustic response, allowing for light pressure to capture low, bell-type frequencies and firm pressure for high, diaphragm-type frequencies. Its extra large bell, measuring 1-3/8" in diameter, provides unsurpassed low-frequency response, while the ultra-sensitive diaphragm, measuring 1-3/4" in diameter, amplifies and clarifies high-frequency sounds. The non-chill bell and diaphragm retaining rims enhance patient comfort. The clinician headset is designed with a reinforced yoke molded into 22" flexible PVC tubing, coupled with stainless-steel binaurals fixed at a 15° angle for increased comfort (the tactical model features aluminum binaurals). The soft and flexible tubing is phthalate-free. Included are Adsoft™ Plus silicone ear tips with a new snap-on connection for optimal wearing comfort and acoustic seal, along with an accessory kit containing two pairs of spare ear tips and a scope ID tag. The stethoscope weighs 5.8 oz. (164g) and has an overall length of 31". It is assembled, inspected, and packaged in the USA, and the lifetime warranty covers all parts.
