The S602 large group lock box is constructed from 430-grade stainless steel, providing durability in challenging environments. Its design features 18 numbered lockout holes on the flange for easy identification, with one hole located on the front latch for the operations lock. The kit includes a gasketed key slot for dropping keys into a removable cup, which also serves as an impact-resistant window on the front, allowing visibility of the secured keys during a group lockout. Replacement key cups are available for convenience. Additionally, the S602 features a rewritable tag for documenting specific procedures or machine information; users can write on the tag with a permanent marker and clean it with isopropyl alcohol. The box also has drain holes at the bottom to prevent liquid accumulation.
