The Master Lock® S866 Retractable Cable Lockout Device is specifically designed for electrical lockouts and features a durable, flexible nylon core cable with a yellow plastic coating. It incorporates a built-in cable management system along with a take-up reel and an internal ratcheting mechanism that allows for tension to be increased on the cable, even after safety padlocks are applied. The contoured thermoplastic cable housing is engineered to withstand harsh environments and facilitates the stacking and transportation of multiple devices. The kit includes high-visibility, write-on safety labels available in English, Spanish, and French. The 9-foot nylon cable, with a diameter of 1/8 inch, offers dielectric resistance for electrical applications. This cable device also features a reel-style cable management system to enhance portability and comes with lock holes for up to four padlocks. To use, simply feed the cable end through the points to be locked out and back to the lockout body, then utilize the reel mechanism to cinch it tight and eliminate slack. A push button mechanism is included for easy cable release.
