The I-Bar Sealer is designed for shrink film packaging and can also be used for sealing poly bags, functioning similarly to a hand sealer. The sealer typically includes a round wire for cutting and sealing, and it is compatible with film up to 34" wide and 0.025mm (100 ga) thickness. Constructed from steel, including the work base, it ensures quality and durability. Key features vary by model and may include a timer, heat gun holder, film roller, film separator, and cutter unit. The W-Series I-Bar Sealer is particularly effective for shrink wrap packaging. It operates easily by inserting the product between the two layers of center fold film, pressing down the sealing bar, and then pulling the package slightly away to allow the element wire to cut and seal the edge. The sealer comes with a limited warranty of 6 months and offers impulse sealing that requires no warm-up time, making it suitable for both shrink wrapping and creating bags from poly tubing. It is available in lengths of 14", 20", 26", 30", and 35", featuring heavy-duty construction for enhanced durability.
